Shortly after becoming a single parent the phone was turned off. This was not good with kids at home. She handled that in short order and immediately started checking into other areas of vulnerability. She contacted her insurance agent about the insurance on the house. She was told not to worry the insurance would not be terminated. You do not put Sandy off by telling her not to worry. She wanted a through explanation of the coverage. Her agent Allen Parks, and now her husband, agreed and has been explaining ever since.
Sandy let Allen know early in their relationship her first priorities were her kids and her work. The marriage has worked beautifully keeping those priorities straight.
Sandy enjoyed a good career as a medical assistant managing various doctor offices and served as an officer of the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA). She then followed her husband into Real Estate going into property management.
